Ingredients:
- Bread - 6 slices, cut into small pieces
- Milk - 1/4 cup or as required to knead the bread
- Shredded coconut - 1/4 cup
- Sugar - 2 tbsp
- Cardamom powder - 1tsp
- Salt - a pinch
- Ghee - 1 tbsp(optional)
- Oil - 2 tbsp, to shallow fry
- In a bowl, add bread slices and start adding milk little by little to mix well
- Add to it the rest of the ingredients except ghee and oil and knead well to form a dough.
- Squeeze a small lemon size portion of the mixture between your fingers and palm and shape it to a flat patty.
- Heat oil along with the ghee in a pan and shallow fry each patty, turning sides till golden brown.
- Serve hot!!
